Animal Rights

This is a short project exploring Animal Rights.

“The Tories have voted that animals can’t feel pain as part of the EU bill, marking the beginning of our anti-science Brexit.” This was the title of Independent article I’ve read. This issue inspired me to create a response. As a part of EU, UK had to accept animals as sentience beings. That means they would have to take in credit breeding animals’ pain and fear. They have to treat them with respect. As a part of law changing when leaving EU they voted to not follow this legislation; they voted against science. After this information went viral they tried to explain themselves saying that it is not a place to make this legislation and that they will take care of it. I did not believe them; they just want to exploit animals.

I created a series of statements that highlight the issue. I made 4 typographic posters and I turned them into a neon style outcome. I decided to do it this way to ‘highlight’ the legislation that was created in the dark - behind the back of the society.
